This cleaner and disinfectant can be used on all types of hard and non-porous surfaces such as wood, metal, plastic, glass or mirror surfaces. It is non-toxic and non-irritant, making it a product of choice for use at home, at work, in your business, at daycare, in public places and more!
THYMOX EXT has demonstrated its effectiveness in eliminating 99.99% of bacteria, fungi and viruses* (DIN 02390035). It is also listed by Health Canada for use against SARS-CoV-2 (the COVID-19 virus).
Thymox EXT is a household cleaner and disinfectant made with the active ingredient Thymol ((active ingredient: component of thyme oil) 0.23% (w/w)).
Thymol has a very good reputation. It is found in several everyday products, such as in mouthwash or certain toothpastes; it is also used as a preservative for food.
In addition to being safe for users, it is its effectiveness in quickly killing a large population of bacteria, fungus or virus* which makes it an ingredient of choice.
Thymox EXT is non-toxic, non-irritating to the respiratory tract and non-corrosive to surfaces. The formula is also biodegradable (OECD 301E).

GENERAL USE FOR DOMESTIC USE ON ALL TYPES OF HARD AND NON-POROUS SURFACES
Disinfectant: Spray to saturate the surfaces** and leave in contact with the surface to be disinfected for 3 minutes***.
Cleaner: Spray** and wipe with a clean cloth, rinse if necessary. If dirt accumulates on surfaces, clean before disinfection. Avoid contamination of food. For surfaces that may come into direct contact with children of oral exploration age, rinsing with potable water is recommended.
**It is recommended to test on an inconspicuous area.
***After applying to the surfaces, wipe THYMOX®EXT with a clean cloth if desired, no need to rinse. Surfaces that come into contact with food should be rinsed after disinfection.
PRECAUTIONS: Users with sensitive skin should take extra precautions. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not ingest.
FIRST AID: In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse with plenty of water, call a doctor if necessary. If swallowed, contact a poison control center.
STORAGE: Store the product in its original container, between 15 °C and 30 °C.
DISPOSAL: Rinse the empty container before disposing of it. Dispose of any unused product or material considered waste, in accordance with provincial/municipal laws and regulations. For more information, contact your provincial regulatory agency.
